Bubba is a 4 year old Quarter Horse. He had a rough start in life and was in bad shape when i got him but with alot of TLC he has come a long way. Because of poor nutrition before i got him he had not grown much. In the past two months he has grown alot and continues to grow. That being said he loves attention and kids. He has great ground manners, he lunges, ties, clips, bathes, and is good for the farrier. He is broke to ride but still considered green. He walks, trots, canters, whoas, backs up and he is learning how to side pass and neck rein. He is doing well with both. I have had novice riders on him and he was great. I took him on his first trail ride and you would have thought he'd been trail ridden many times before. He knows his job (and LOVES it) around the barrels,cones, and speed & control. He is actually VERY good, knows what he is doing...never timed him tho,so dont know what division he would be under yet isnt hot in or out of the pen. He is VERY fast if you want him to be!! Also has many gears of speed.He isnt top grade for showmansip but hehas been in the ribbons with it and with a little bit more work on pivots i think he would be awesome!The reason we are selling is because we need a horse thats a little easier to ride at a trot/canter. Poco isnt bad, but for a timid nine year old, hes alot of horse. Great on trails and has been in parades. Was told he does english and did some jumping, but we havent done any of that with him to know for sure. Loads,stands awesome for fairier,bathes. Has shoes on front feet. Currently in refreshing training.Almost a total of 90 days training.He is a beautiful golden color,and such a sweetheart...loves to love and loves to be loved! Price is negotiable needs to sell!!! 2000 Quarter Horse Sorrel Gelding. Baxter 15.2 hands. We aquired Baxter over the winter as a sort of rescue deal. 4 Year Old Registered Quarter Horse Gelding --- I bought Gambler to train and show this year but I got pregnant so he is now up for sale. Gambler is only green broke with about 10 rides on him so far- at walk and trot. He lunges, bathes, crossties and loves to be groomed! He is a nice gelding that would be a great 4-H and show project.
